Details: The HYC2400E is a powerful electric chainsaw from Hyundai. Powered by a 2400 watt twin-speed electric motor, the HYC2400E is the ideal chainsaw for homeowners for use in harsher environments, such as felling trees and cutting logs. Weighing just 6.6kg, this Hyundai electric chainsaw features an Oregon chain guide bar and chain of 16” (40cm) with an electric/mechanical chain brake which is activated in the event of a kick-back by pushing the brake handle forward. Perfect for domestic use, the HYC2400E can be used indoors as there are no fumes, as well as outdoors. The 12-metre power cable provides a substantial working area with no need to use an extension cable and the chainsaw handle has a cable loop which allows you to pass the cable back through the rear handle and around the loop to prevent excessive tension on the cable to promote longevity. The motor features Power Plus technology, where the chain speed increases as the load on the chain increases whilst cutting. The three LED lights indicate power on, in use and overload. The transparent chain oil tank, visible from both sides of the chainsaw, can easily be checked and topped up thus ensuring maximum chain life. It is recommended to use a good quality chain lubrication oil. Quick and easy to assemble out of the box with no tools needed, the HYC2400E features a soft grip ergonomic rear handle and lightweight plastic and alloy front handle for user comfort during extended periods of use. To make using this chainsaw as simple as possible, the HYC2400E features tool-less chain tensioning and automatic chain lubrication. This allows you to easily assemble and replace the chain and adjust tension without any tools.
